Left my book a home.......*tuts* Is there a torque setting for these 3 bolts, or is ‘that’ll do’ be ok. Also Is there torque for Top and bottom shock nuts? Ta

I only got another 2 weeks, depending on weather, and then I’m working for a month or so. ☹️ Hopefully I can get n/s front wing fitted and then get rest of n/s stuff put back on. I can then jack up o/s and if chassis is sound, crack on with box section and rear wheel arch area...

More weldy and reddy

Well that was interesting ..... Thought I’d squirt some dinitrol cavity wax in the round crossmember before welding the turret on..... Almost finished welding the large piece on when ....... FLASH BANG!!!! Seems dinitrol has a flashpoint !!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek: Scared the Bejesus or of me.

Like my double ended paint stirrer??? Red one side , black the other. Lol When I’ve eventually finished I’m going to cut through the stick and measure how much paint is on there !!!

Not as crusty as it looks..... Loadsa bashing with pointy end of hammer ..... Cut out rot ...... dose Fertan. Had time to give yesterday’s weldy bits 2nd coat of seam sealer. Funeral tomorrow :( Get CAD out Friday and more Red painting.

Welded and Redded !!

I was going to do some welding but the weather was crap till about 3.00 :( Tomorrow hopefully

Silicone pipes fitted. :) My turrets have a flat edge on on one side of the base to stop rubbing on the inner wing. Did yours have this as well? As I haven’t fitted the new inner wing yet, Do you know if it faces towards engine or towards road?
