Off Road Tour Guide Recommendations Morocco

Hi, it's been a while since I last went to Morroco, probably 5 years, last time I went a bomb was planted in Marakesh, the big square, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Marrakesh_bombing. I have found the further south you go the more hostile it gets, on a trip to Plage Blanc, one local...

Well I got to drive it today, took it on the motorway and no noises from anywhere. So all good there. OWU test soon but now away for a few days on the boat. Did I read somewhere it is a 36mm socket required for OWUT ? Rich, that's good going, unfortunately I work away from home, so always have...

Budget update: The work I have had done comes in at the moment £1400. Now I have not the time, space to do this work. Think my first bid ( on the phone, annoyed ) of £2200 for this vehicle was correct, I can live with 25, possible IRD change ( worst case scenario ) Still happy,

Freelander 1 premium diesel or millars additives

I drive an Iveco Daily for work, I have two fuel cards, a bunker fuel card, as low as £1 per litre, and the other card is for shell or BP, can't use the advanced stuff, but I have had the vehicle for about two weeks now, and been comparing when I use bunker fuel or the other card. I am sure the...

Close up o the wheels Bigger brothers and sisters, awaiting collection or treatment. Edit: Light service on transmission: Oil was low on diff, been topped up with fresh, to check for leaks! I will give the car a run upon return, change this and look at the oil that comes out, looking for...

Well I made good progress back up the M2/25/1/6 today. Got to see the progress. Rear bumper done, looks new. Low levels of oil in Diff, no problems with Hub, bearings, CV joints. We have New rubber, reconditioned wheels, a light service of the transmission, new disks and drums, nothing wrong...

    Freelander buying advice

I am relatively new to FL1's, been told FL2's are more reliable. Perhaps they are, but then again they are newer. Seem expensive to me, but perhaps that is the market in Denmark.

    Decisions decisions

Personally I would also prefer a d3 over the others, however I drive D4's occasionally and according to on board computer I can get 8mpg out of it at times, and as much as 25mpg going downhill though I would be towing 3.5t. I actually like the volvo's shape and volvo's in general, my dirty...

Just heard from garage wheels are back and he said they look really good, he sounded surprised. Nothing wrong with calipers, he hasn't had time to check wheel bearing or CV joint as yet, though I can't think of anything else, we had a chat, decided not to repair seat as yet as the upholsterer...

Freelander 2001 TD4 OBDII Socket or Not??

That would be great. Using this forum I believe the others are not as good, there is one about £75 but from what I have read is a read only device. There is another PScan? About £150 but no SRS or ABS read/ change ability, the Hawkeye, which I have read nothng but good £300, then the T-Tool...
