i have a bluespark multi map box on mine and the difference it made is great , it pulls like a train and tows a 1500kg caravan as if its not there, it pulls from a lot lower down the rev range aswell so i dont have to change gear to much on hills .

Hi if you have the handbook it will give all the weights in there i;m pretty sure that landrover say it will tow 2000kg ,but the caravan people recommend 85%of the kerb weight for new towers and upto 100% of kerbweight for experienced towers , you just need to check the actual vehicle kerbweight...

Sounds like an egr problem friend of mine had this and that was malfunctioning egr valve he replaced it and prob cured mine is blanked off yes it gets a little stutter at 2000 revs but I don't really notice it so don't worry

Very smart wish mine looked like that ,it does on the odd occasion that i give it a good clean but because i do a lot of fishing and the pool is down a dirt track then across two fields it doesnt stay that clean for long .

Mines always been low with the biting point, but never had any probs with gears, its done 85000 now and its been no different since 64000 and 3 years of normal driving and towing 1.5 ton .
