Well i have just spent the last hour taking the door to bits from the boot (not easy) Didn't have a socket set to get the big door handle off so made things tricky!!! Finally looked at the lock and rods and springs all looked ok, so very flummoxed!!! So i was stuck, thought it would be a trip...

I do have the double click opening, but it's not that. Hope to have a look in the next couple of hours.

Hope someone will be able to help, went to open the rear door this morning, pressed the unlock on the key and the button went up, to the unlock position ( motor in the door clunked as normal) Pulled the door handle and nothing! feels like it's not connected. Tryed the interior handle and...

Looking at getting an older Disco 2 with about 100,000miles on it. Which gearbox is more reliable, Manual or Auto? I would like a Auto as i do around 75-80k a year for work ( not in the disco!!) so would like a slush mattic for the weekends. Will also be doing a bit of "light" off roading...

Well i Think we are going for the older one, As it will be used as a play thing as opposed to being kept polised. Then we have a 2 year old reliable Family car that will do 60mpg and able to go 600miles on a tankfull (50lts) With the money saved buy going older will leave some money for a mod...
