Quick question lads and ladies, have any of you used Time cert kits for repairing a stripped thread? I used them at my last unit but don't think we have them where I currently work. I know the studs are M10x35 but what size repair kit do I require M10x10 ,M10x1.25 or M10x150? Took...

Took the turbo off to replace oil drain pipe. Now need a time cert kit as one of the studs has cross threaded..balls

i went for recore, cost 150 quid last week comes with 2 years warranty and I had it back in less than 24hours, So was more than happy

Discomark, ive beeen reading up on the pros and cons wea radiators. I decided to get mine recored as it reads to be the better option. Not saying it is. But collected it 24 hours later and looks the business To many stories about crap replacements, and some of the replacements we get at work...

No dramas Greyhair, its costing me 135 quid and comes with 2 years warranty. Its from 2 old boys in Darlington called Clearflow Radiators. Hopefully collect it today and i'll let you know how I get on. Seems the better option rather buying a cheap replacement.

Changed both diffs, T-box, gear box, engine oil and filter. Greased up ma props.....then realised tetra schultzing at Christmas was a cack idea......orange appearing everywhere ....well apart from the front as my leaking brake vacuum pump is keeping everything coated in oil:rolleyes:

aye it is, need to get ma radiator re-cored, but want seat box rubber to replace carpet, but then want grills for rear slidding windows ...so will end up wea new rdx lights or something!:confused:

sold my old safari rear door complete to a nice lad called Graham. For his 89 rebuild. Used the money to buy some new engine oil ready for its service Monday over the pit at work......now on ebay looking for stuff I don't need but want!:rolleyes:

Lads and ladies does anybody have a link for the Rave CD electrical systems for the defender? I've got the normal workshop manual but it aint got electrical diagrams. Going to start wiring up my TD5 rear door to my 300tdi wiring loom and need the diagrams. If you don't want to publish it...

wolf if I had ken'd yu wur in work I would of looked for you. But the large stout man on the gate wasn't very helpful and trying to drive round the Dsg site aint the easiest...small location....I drove into the MAN SV yard unloaded and got going, long 2 days driving....where are you fur next time?

Fitted up and adjusted my td5 rear door, ready for painting next month. Just need some new electrical connecters to wire her all up.........then relised my radiator has started to weap...balls:mad:

Drilled out all the old hinge bolts as they were seized solid, ready to fit the new rear door the morrow. Finished spraying the grey insert of the dash black and rebuilt my dash. Looks much better all black. I would post a pic but its no allowing me!:confused:
