    So why is that nonsense ? We are looking at the front and TO ME the Series 2A looks better than the Series 3 . You would also see a difference in the cab as the dashes are completely different . And why would you want to make a Series 2 look like a lesser Series 3 ?

    Series 3 The Swiss MOT & the SU Carb

    I have a complete ACR 2 .25l engine in my 1955 Series One 107” trayback and it goes nicely . Not as fast as when it was in my 86” but it can certainly hold its own in traffic. It has even been known to overtake a Range Rover !

    Actually, on some Series Ones you can put the windscreen down with the spare wheel on the bonnet .Though I can’t answer for Series 2s and 3s.

    Unfortunately I can’t actually tell how the throttle linkages were done as they were done by my mechanic . All I can do to help is take some more photos of what is there and you will have to work out for yourself how it goes .
