oh and yeas using nanocom and go in to the RF menu it says a valid code has been received but i supose this could be because everything is deactivated so it defaults to " valid code received" ?

yeah, my mate has a p38 so i was thinking of swapping the receiver out , just to rule it out i will try swapping the receiver first, if still no good i will reactivate the imobiliser and see if that works thanks guys, will update once i have done this

yes, central locking worked fine off the buttons before i disconected the battery for the engine swap, but since then it only unlocks using the key in the door, i suspect the switches in the door is ok as when i turn the key in the lock it is happy and all the doors and boot lock and unlock...

yes my aerial is usually unplugged as it gets interferance and drains the battery but i did connect it while i tried the key in lock with buttons press as you discribe but no good, i have even drove to different locations to try and get away from any other signals which may interupt it but...

hi Dave Yes , just let me find the links for you, its a pain of a job , i used 2 long ball joint seperators to break both the bal joint tapers to get the swivel housing off and then used a ball joint kit with some heat and a big hammer to shock it while i had it under load from the ball joint...

Hi, good news , it was a connection in the big plug under the expansion tank I gave it a wiggle and pushed it in abit and the glow plug light comes on again, thanks for the help Now I just need to get the key to resync and all back to normal.

Hi I will check the connectors, I have recently fitted another engine so that connector under the expansion tank has been unplugged and re plugged however the light was working straight after the engine change and stopped working a few days after. I think the temperature sensor is OK as it does...

Looks like connection from bcem is good as I can force the light on using nanocom, its weird Unless connection from engine ECU to bcem

Hi, yes fuse is all good , relay is clicking and the plugs are all getting power , just no coil light on the dash

Hi my p38 no longer brings on the flow plug light, when I turn ignition on the relay clicks and I have power at the plugs.. but no light on dash, the light does work though as I can bring it on using nanocom.
