Bypass the filter and tank and that will tell you if it is before or after the lift pump. First stick the lift pump input hose into clean diesel and the out put into a container and see if fuel shoots out when spinning engine. Back on with the output and start the engine, if running rough, open...

You can't grease the steering ujs and you can't tell if they are OK by looking at them. Try soaking them in wd40 and see if it gets better. If it does then still change them, if not, you will have to remove them and see if they are working. Does sound like classic steering ujs at fault but you...

I would have said battery getting weak but as its not running properly now, I would start with filter first.

I enjoyed the rebuild. Better if it was a longer show and more mechanical work but good still the same. Saw a few other rebuilds and the whole series is worth watching.

It needs a chassis, the rest can be done by the guy himself. If you take a grinder to the chassis number, you have a bare chassis ready to be transplanted. Nothing wrong with that, same as new galvanised ie no identity. Get a trailer, travel and get the one offered. Get a deal going. Otherwise...

What condition is the battery. Little solenoid wire being loose or dirty could be the wouldnt turn over at all problem. You may have moved it while hitting it.

Garage hasn't done their job properly. Nothing special about land rover brakes. You won't find a much easier brake system. If they cannot sort these brakes then they must be pretty poor.

Hi, welcome to the forum. If you need to pick cherries, a cherry picker defender is a good choice.

They will be looking for the vin plate under the bonnet and maybe the one in the front window if it is there but don't think so. Pic of chassis number and vin plate should be enough.
