L322 Aux cigar socket, are they meant to be constantly live

Im not familliar with the l332 wiring at all. but at the end of the day there will be a switched live somewhere for something (radio, lights, dash etc, just a case of tapping into it with a relay to feed whatever socket you want to use. Could be an option if you find battery gets drained.

Series 3 Best way to clean out the cooling system

I have used NON BIO! washing liquid, powder works too but liquid is better, like persil but a cheap one is just as good. Was recomended by many mechanics and has worked very well on numerous engines after head failure oil in system etc. Run it with it in for a few days then dump it when its...

Watertight cabling for rear work light

always try and use the largest diamiter one you can fit in the hole as it helps to keep your radius correct, they work well in any power drill but they are EXCELENT in an air or electric die grinder, i cannot reccomend a die grinder enough, one of thoes tools you think you dont need untill you...

    Newby help with outriggers

i used a grinder for most of it,, and plasma cutter for the tight bits although i could have got by with just a grinder and some old (smaller) discs if i didnt have one available. my floor was already out as was preparing to do bulkhead, its a pain to remove floor/seatbox etc but in long run...

Are 245 tyres a good choice for a P38 offroad?

yes a bulkhead will be more expensive, about 400-450 for tyres plus fitting vs about 600-700 for bulkhead plus bits n pieces, however if i brought the tyres it sets me back again on my saving towards the bulkhead. i can only afford one or other right now if ya see what i mean, tyres will allow...
