Same symptoms on my '03 TD5 a couple of years ago. Turned out the cat' was blocked, replaced with a decat pipe and all was well. Don't know if there were cats fitted on the '99 TD5s but as SUTTY suggested make sure your exhaust is free to flow.

There's probably 80mm between the base of my high backs and the base of my side facing rear seats. Dog guard fits nice in this gap. It does mean that the high backs need to be in quite an upright position or they foul the mesh, I only ever drive it.....so not that bothered. Mike.

3 X Exmoor high backs and full height LR dog/load guard fitted no problem to my 110. Fit the guard to clear the seats. Mike.

Good luck with that..... I used to regularly break half shafts and diffs' on my old hybrid V8 series IIA (RWD unless 4WD selected) without trying. Plenty of revs, dump the clutch.....BANG. Time to spend time with the spanners. Mike.

Hi, Sorry for the tardy response... Yes it was without a doubt the copper injector seals that were the cause in my case. Take great care when reassembling, the sealing faces must be clean and take extra care not to nick an o ring when refitting the injectors. I had a large CO2 fire...

My 03 TD5 110 still has the original battery in it. I have been expecting it to fail for the last two winters but no problems so far...:)

Well a huge thanks to you all, Put the now mostly clean injectors back in. Mr muscle did a good job on the injector sides and sealing faces but I left the tips as they were, didn't want to monkey about near the busness end. New washers and O rings and paid...

Thanks Guys, EGR was removed a few years ago. Its got a new L/R air filter, I have bench tested the MAF and no problems. Also had it Test Booked and no sensor faults were apparent on the test drive. The Fuel Pressure Regulator was leaking, this has now been changed but made no...
