    My 110 TD5 wipers decided to go mental just before MOT time. Would park from intermittent but stop any where when switched off from constant. Also turned out to be the park switch on the wiper motor. Got to take a fair few bits off to get to it though.

    I also run BFG M/T 255/85/16 but on boost alloys. No lift, works well and properly fills the arches.

    Changed to BP springs and Terrafirma big bore dampers a few yers ago when the OEM stuff was a bit tired. Don't carry massive loads but often have 3 kayaks, 5 surfboards etc on roof, see avatar. The newer set up has made the handling much less flappy.

    Dropped the sump when i did mine. Sump bolts go into the seal housing so you will struggle with the sump in place to change it without leaving leaks i reckon.

    I fitted these just over £130 better than my wipac crystal halogen set up, pass MOT no problems. The actual power consumed is about half of that quoted but they are plenty bright. The only downside so far is in frosty conditions where there is not enough heat generated at the lens face to melt...

    Getting the trim out and back was probably the biggest faf (mine also an XS). Getting the bottom washer and nut back on wasn't that much of problem if you have long slim fingers. Surprisingly my short sausage fingers made easy work of it...

    Thanks all, I did the job using the 'Brown' method, a bit fiddly as I had to remove the push-rod from the cylinder to winkle it in place, but all in all I think preferable to getting the pedal box out. The failed one is a Delphi, I had hoped it woud be as good as OEM but... Girling one from the...
