    Yeah well as long as it reads up to 3500, and 800 at ticover i guess it will be OK .thanks mate ill give it a go tomorow.

    I have a 52mm rev counter of a BMW boxer twin on the back of it it has 4 wires 1 to feed for the bulb ,1 with a+ ,1 with a-, and 1 with a Z now asuming i have a W terminal on the back of my Alt. can i use this counter? if so anyone knows witch wire i use for it .I am sure the'r some bright...

    Right .is of the T junction i use from the black hose at the turbo to the boost gauge.Ill try t 'other way at week end. Ta. at least it'll keep me out the house

    Well the workshop manual published by rover Technical communication states that a v8 oil press should be 2.75 bar[40lb/in]at2500 rev/min with engine at running temp. or try just change your oil filter they have a valve in them if at fault it could wreck your motor. I blew a BMW engine once...

    Depends on the milage you have all ready You coul'd mesure CLUTCH plate thicknes first before you buy but changeing thrust/spigot bearings sounds good idea.

    You can but ther'are so many top quality oils out there. e.g try RED LINE MTF.Or AMSOIL Maual Trans Oil . i think even L ROVER now recomends MTF as against ATF.

    Thats a good start after all i had a similar noise from my t box on a 200 tdi and it turned out it were badly pitted bearings on the input gear if so the are dead easy to check/replace just remove the PTO COVER five 17mm bolts put low r lever .N .Hand brake of and the gear comes straight out...
