Thanks, I have heard you can do it by pulling the box back and resting it on the cross member so you have a bit of room to work in would this be possible?

Hi Guys. Can anyone tell me how many bolts an nuts there on my 200tdi discovery bell housing. Is there any at the top which can't be accessed from underneath if there are how do you remove them can you do it from inside the car?

Good point! but I mean't uphill in fresh snow. wouldn't like to drive it on ice as all cars become sledges. Had a bad accident downhill in a mondeo last year.

Hi its the first time I've had my old disco out in the snow and I can't believe how good it was. It was leaving most modern 4x4,s for dead on the hills, what a good old bus.:):)

Does the same apply for the power steering belt? What is a jemmy? I was removing the fan as it tells you in the Haynes manual, but if you don't need to remove the fan then I'm all for it.

Hi has anyone fitted a fan belt to a 200tdi, I have tried but got stuck trying to get to and remove the fan.:confused. The belt is slipping and I am loosing the power steering at low speed it is also screaching.
