sunflower oil is good veg oil,but it is not biodiesel.I would only put biodiesel in a TD5. Biodiesel is FAME (fatty acid methyl esters) and can be made from any veg oil or animal oil

My Td5 has been on 100% bio (quality homebrew) since May 2013-no issues yet.5% misfuel added in winter months. If it is commercial bio you are thinking of using,be very careful that it is quality fuel

If you add a little petrol to the mix-say 0.5% it should help the water stuff to drop to the bottom and clear the fuel on top

biodiesel calms all diesels down due to its slower/longer burn cycle-my td5 sounds like a bag of nails if run on derv-almost quiet as a petrol on bio-even better when warm
