Got a new engine mounting off a series 2a 109. Mine is 88" ... I haven't compared them yet. but the 109 1 seems alot bigger. Also it's made of 2 pieces of channel fitted 2gether. Have someone bodged this, replacement or orginal. Seems pretty thick the metal compared to the other parts i've...

Do u need a conversion kit, or just a bit of bodging?

Are u using a orginal lucus switch or a non genuine brand. If a. Try turning the wipers/indicators etc when ignition switch is on each position. If no success. [or b] Get the old multimeter out find out where your wires go. :)

hmm.... strange. Did u edit a wiring diagram for how u have done your circuit, or just connect stuff unitl it worked. ?

Look @ vehicle wiring products . Most of their stuff is fairly cheap :) and i've had no problems with their quality. VWP - Relays menu

Good call :D Relays are your best option, maybe not original and can be expensive, but imo it's a well worth upgrade. Also if it does blow the relay it's much easier to join the 2 wires in the engine bay, than all that mass of wires behind the dash :P

The coil shouldn't be connected across 5&6, only a wire taken from the ignition switch to [pin 5] side of the fuse. Has this been happening all the time, or recently occurred after driving along the road. If a, and has happened from the word go, u haven't connected one of the sub-systems from...

I've painted mine by hand and looks quiet gd. It's cheaper.. but u have gotta be pretty handy at painting to do it nicely :D ... very easy to get streaks :(( Have u got any pics up yet... kind find um if u have :(

If it's just the rear x member u want paddocks do 1 a 1/4 chassis for £85. IF your looking for a complete chassis replacement. go get a zinc coated 1. about £950 from paddocks, inc vat and delivery to carmarthenshire :) [maybe slightly more for u, but not much :D]

It's not the motor which is dual speed. ... I have a intermittent unit installed with my wiper setup. I just had a switch with 2 position [light switch], ... and connected a short circuit for 1 and another with a intermittent unit installed in parallel. Works a treat. :)

roflmao... omfg... i wish i waS there to see that. FLipin awson :P I think u can set up extra lights if you want. I have a series 2a and setting up some more lamps i front of the grill, which have a dipped function. No -one has issues with them atm. as long as u set them up correct...
