    the gearbox is made in china and is a bit nasty, i tig weld bits for the local transmission place where the friction welding has failed. Other than s good heater the worst most unreliable rust prone turd to have thr defender name

    Tungsten is the way to go with hard stuff. stellite drills work well but need plenty of horsepower and seem hard to find these days. If you get a green grit stone on a bench grinder you can regrind tungsten masonry drills to cut steel, though if you want to hold tolerance go to your local...

    no luckily ive sold my tube bender for a £7000 loss, best seven grand ive spent! I think if you want to do something like that its best to design it then get a tube manipulation specialist to bend it up then notch and weld ut yourself
