Well, if you do check the sealing strip too: WINDSCREEN SEAL 2.5 METRES 78159. .. and remove as best you can all the ****ty stuff left behind, they seem to stick to all the bits you want to be clean. ;)

I was thinking of the paint on conductor too, but then thought, can it really carry the power (it's on a 10A fuse). I saw this stuff too: "Conductive Wire Glue/Paint ", and thought the same, can it handle amps? Also thought about using the above glue and fixing some 1mm copper wire across...

Take the low power from the same ignition switched White cable I suggest? Browns should be straight from the battery, but why risk flattening the battery or over cooking the heaters if you get a short or summat?

Does the relay make the "tock" sound when the dipped lights turned on? Tried re-seating the relay?

Are the cables actually attached to the switch? I only ask 'cos guess what happened to me Monday? No side or tail lamps - dipped & full beam = OK. Turned out that some PO had made a mess of soldering on the switch & the red cable had broken off and was flopping loose. So I re-made up...

Well, the seats in there are a tad worn, and she says too uncomfortable. Complains about (most things really) but also seat height & thigh support (what!). So in the interests of harmony - give me a clue as what to buy. I can see a set of expensive Exmoor's and fittings coming my way...
