    General AT2 265/75R16 x5

£380 4 wheels have DynaBeads to improve balance. All in perfect condition, not used on anything other than turf or tarmac. No splits, cuts or cracks. Modular rims are offset - not sure how much - but they didn't rub on my 90. 4 miles from M5 Junction 9.

TD5 Clutch Replacement, anything else i should do while its out?

How's your fuel pressure regulator... I seem to remember someone saying it was easier to do while the gearbox is off!?

Right first question for my 90

Not a bad plan to ditch the window side panels... I have a van and though I could do with better visibility, so fitted county window sides... took a few hours, but managed on my own, easy enough, as said it's just like meccano... In the end got fed up with leaks and rattles... swapped them...

    oem parts

I want to refresh my suspension and have decided that if they've lasted 100,000 miles I'll stick with the original set up rather than poly bushes... Just checked out the Rimmer Bros site and a genuine bush/bolt set is £300... compared to their aftermarket option at £29.50!! I don't want to do...

    H4 bulb upgrade.

As he said... definitely an improvement on the old standard bulbs.

    dyna beads tyre balancing

I have just installed these Dyna Beads: Dynabeads Tyre Balancers. The dynamic way to balance your tyres. Did it at the end of work today, and the drive home was definitely smoother, so I guess they work... but will have to see how the work over time. If you do go down this route, they can be...

    Discovery 1 Alloy Wheels - Cyclone 16" 2 tone

What size are the tyres you had on those rims?... wondering if my 265's would fit? Would you throw in the nuts for £25/rim? I'm pretty sure they will fit my 2001 defender!?

    BFG A/T 235/70/16 x6

Are these still for sale? I'm a bit too far to collect any time soon, so may need couriering - is this possible?... otherwise Landyzone courier... I'm more interested in the alloys than the tyres...but willing to sell them on... are the alloys in good order?

    Fuel Pump issue

Does this mean you now have a TD5 fuel pump for sale!?

    td5 fuel leakage

Just read this AFTER replacing my starter motor, which was a bit of a bugger... My FPR appears to be leaking a bit... could this have caused my starter solenoid to fail? The leak isn't enough to leave a spot on the floor... which is why I haven't had a go at the FPR yet...

Removing the starter on a TD5

Thanks for this... I've just done my starter motor... managed it in an extended lunch break! I could add a couple of tips to help with the top nut: 1. as you have done with the 15mm socket, extension and knuckle... but I found it was possible to join two long extensions to pass through the...

TD5 90 defender fuel pump noise

I had fuel pump problems in the past: http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f50/fuel-pump-cleaning-fault-finding-225684.html ...might help?

    Dirt D-Fender Wheel Arch Extension

So I take it that's a NO then!... no one has tried them, and if they had they wouldn't be admitting to it on here... I'll take my £35 down the pub for a pint and a curry with the missus. Cheers :D

    Dirt D-Fender Wheel Arch Extension

It can affect your visibility... especially when driving sideways:eek:

Anyone going to the LRO Show next weekend... any chance of a lift?... or share the fuel cost with me?

    Dirt D-Fender Wheel Arch Extension

Anyone tried these from Mud Stuff? Their only £35 for a pair... might solve the problem of mud splattered door handles and windows associated with wider tyres... I know a few have complained of this...?

    Windscreen rubber, bodge or replace?

Got any chips in the screen?... I did and Autoglass fitted a new rubber too for £50... some of the more creative even use this opportunity to upgrade to a heated screen?!

    200tdi timing Belt and tensioner

Don't sell your belt parts... I ended up refitting mine when the Zeus conversion failed on my 200TDi... Twice!! They were very good on support... sent new gears FOC to me in Zambia... but when the idler gear bearing sheared off the casing I gave up and went back to the belt... trouble free...
