To be fair I've had a lot over time go wrong with the td5. If this one turns out to be worse then I will give up on Land rover completely. Oh & I forgot to mention it a v8 & it's fooking gorgeous to drive. So engine is a proven jag engine only time will tell.

    discovery td5 noisy

That'll be the spigot nipple on the accelerator calliper. I done that speed in mine and the rear flywheel seperated from the front one. £££££££

    Side sensors

I didn't even know they had them. Have you tried the cancel button on the dash? I think it cancels front & rear too.

Give us a hint - it's the least you can do....

Lol.......I totally get you. But it does rain 355 days of the year in Britain. So how do you know all the other vehicles off this island don't actually leak unless you bring them here to test. (It hardly bloody rains anywhere else, so if there is problems you wouldn't know)

Newby trying to fiddle with door mirrors and heated seats

Seat pads are known to have a break in the circuit from excessive use. I believe there is a kit you can buy to repair the break. As for the mirrors it's a case of take em apart to see what's happening behind the glass. Silicon works well to join them up again, sloppy I know but hey ho.

    90 csw 2.5 turbo

Hi guys selling my 90, it's got a little tax no mot. Needs welding on drivers side front outrigger, needs a new drivers side suspension cone & a little weld on the battery box. Rear link arm help needed.

Well as it happens that happened to mine, but the ACE arm was the other way. So I used a few wooden blocks & a jack to put it back in line. I never de-pressurised the system & have had not faults whatsoever. Those cheap **** link arms never work. OEM or genuine are the way to go.

    Anti Roll Bar drop link

    brake wobble or shudder

Light braking for 200 miles & they will probably bed in. If you brake hard or have braked hard then discs will or have warped.

Done these myself a couple of weeks ago, absolute pigs are those square connectors. I used circlip pliers to prise them apart while squeezing the blocks.

What have you pulled with your discovery?

A fully laden articulated lorry up a hill in snow. He did have the tractor unit running tho to help. But on his own it was no good, tie a disco on the front and hay ho, up it went.

So did I. But if they done it to hike prices up, then they will tell you any bull****. I have had this information from a really good source by the way. So I believe the EU thing was absolute nonsense.
