I tried replacing the green fuel pipe on my 02 Discovery today due to it being worn on the chassis and leaking, however I couldn't release the end with the square connector on it.

I realise you have to squeeze the two tabs in and pull, but I may have knackered something as I rotated the connector 90 degrees to be able to get to the other tab, as it was tight up to the chassis.

I can now get to both tabs but I don't seem to be able to squeeze them in enough to release it, any tips on how to get it off?

Thanks.

Done these myself a couple of weeks ago, absolute pigs are those square connectors. I used circlip pliers to prise them apart while squeezing the blocks.
