    That's exactly what I've done. Standard two hole 90 side mount tank and a rrc fuel pump extended in length with a bit of plate. I changed the return to a petrol one also. Don't forget you need high pressure fuel lines too.

    I've used epoxy mastic 121 on my build and I'd rate it. It's a two pack brushable paint. I rust converted and primed with dinitrol rc900 first.

    You can actually do this with the zf4hp22eh autobox out of a disco2. You then need a compushift system so it can control it including tiptronic functions. Best part of 2k from Ashcroft.

    Other consideration is the higher gearing, especially in first gear you get with an zf4hp22 auto box normally bolted up to the rover v8. Means going slow off road is more difficult.

    a r380 gearbox is rated to approx 280lbft of torque (r380 is named because it can cope with 380nm of torque). If you do fry it, then it will be 3rd gear synchro which goes under heavy acceleration and load. How often will you be nailing it... Also those specs are for the first generation boxes...

    Do they not make a flywheel with the hole? JE supplied the flywheel to me?

    But the flywheel doesn't have a hole for the dowel. Just six holes for the bolts.

    So I've stuck the spigot bush in and then tried to fit the flywheel..... It doesn't fit because of the dowel in the end of the crank. Do I have an incorrect flywheel? I've read people remove the dowel (grind it off) but it seems a bit drastic!

    Is that the mud shield plate? I didn't bother with that. It's only very thin so wouldn't account for around 5mm I used bzp 10.9 m10x25 bolts. I went craddocks yesterday and he brought out the official land rover part from the catalogue and thats m10x25 as well. Weird? Easy option is to buy...
