guys, on the pic below i take it that the little recess in the hole isnt a spigot bush? i assume it should be much bigger diameter?

Thanks. Are they easy to fit? Just whack it in like a bearing?

It's a new engine from rpi and came with an auto flex plate. I take it that autos don't have a spigot?

autos dont use a spigot bush, you need 549911 bush just taps in with a suitable flat faced tool, a suitable sized socket used the wrong way round may do it

So I've stuck the spigot bush in and then tried to fit the flywheel..... It doesn't fit because of the dowel in the end of the crank. Do I have an incorrect flywheel? I've read people remove the dowel (grind it off) but it seems a bit drastic!

if you look at the back of the fly wheel there should be a hole for the dowel ,flywheel will only fit in one position
