I want to fit an engine pre heater to the coolant system..ie a kenlowe. They recommend that you check to make sure the system is usually open, or otherwise to bypass it?? Can anyone shed any light for me?

done that how do i get scratches off the chrome? think it was bloody tile adhesive!! what gets that off?
