so doors count as shut, EKA code seems to work but red immobliser light stays on so am thinking it is a BCU issue

I need to enter the EAK on my D2, I have the code. It has been bobtailed so rear door and boot doors / locks no linger exist. for the EAK to work all doors etc must be closed. so with to locks and doors missing will the system think the doors are open or closed? if it will think them open are...

Thankyou both for your help, you got it dirty plugs, we think from overfuleing. last time we used it it had the fuel pump and tank seen above but not the pressure regulator. we think the pump was outputting above 100 psi when the original pump reg combo would have been about 50psi, our hunch...

today we will pull plugs and test them and also try a diffrent battery / test volt drop on cranking

well thats a blow, we had a generic code reader on it but got no dosed except fuel pump rate error. we attributed that to not having adjusted the fuel pressure regulator to the correct value. I have seen a range of values listed between 40 and 60 psi or 2.5 to 4 bar

to be fair we tester CYL 1 & 2 for spark with a spare spark plug on the lead gronunded to the engine. we didnt actualy pull the actual plugs from the cylanders. any thoughts on crank position sensonr?
