Anyone around for a cheeky Mid week Thetford excursion?

The Norfolk map is online, the Suffolk one isn't, but the Suffolk ones are marked on the ground with yellow markers on posts. Be careful in Thetford as there is always some off piste spots - the Forestry Commission take off piste activity very seriously - some time back they put a load of money...

Range Rover Classic Central Locking Issues

Turns out I put too many relays when I put the dash back together - I remember one of the yellow slots being empty but couldn't remember which one - did\t think that putting a spare relay in the spare slot would make a difference! All sorted now....

Range Rover Classic Central Locking Issues

Will do. Got the indicators and sidelights working properly today - corrosion in the multiple so changed that out. I will recheck the earths tomorrow as the locking is still playing up, but at least the list of problems is reducing (for now at least.....).

Nothing like a good debate about stuff - especially when people feel passionately about their hobby. Personally I'd be more concerned if I posted up an idea like yours and got no feedback at all... If you're ever East Anglia way and want to do some landing give me a shout.....likewise if I...

Everyone has different financial constraints - but I still don't know why people are so reluctant to join GLASS (a a GLASS affiliated club) because as Sue says it's half a tank of fuel (less for me with a V8!) - and often many will spend thousands modifying their trucks. I wonder how many...

    suffolk lanes, Ixworth area?

If you go in from the Ickingham end it's very scratchy for about 3 - 400 meters. Also worth checking the entrance on Streetview as the entrance is behind the hedgerow, and the turning to Canada Farm is on the nearside, easy to get the two fixed up. There is actually a lane that runs north...

green laning shouldn't be about big bomb holes and winching - agreed - but that doesn't mean you can't use them properly in a modified vehicle. Many of us can only afford 1 vehicle for both landing and off road - its as much about how you drive them. the vehicle is the tool - it all depends on...

    suffolk lanes, Ixworth area?

Yes that circuit of Kings Forest is drivable - the route on the left is very open, the route on the right takes you right through the forest, and the one horizontally joins them up nicely.....
