    P38A Vibration through floor

Hi, My P38 vibrates through the floor around 70-90. The car hit a curb at quite high speed a while ago which popped a tyre and ever since then it's vibrated. It seems to be worst at 80. The vibration doesn't come through the steering wheel just through the floor. I've changed the props with new...

    Compressor clutch control circuit fault

Found a leak in the condenser even though it was replaced last year. I got it regarded today and the both faults disappeared. :)

    Just a quick one . . .

I tried this yesterday and mine would lift the car with the engine off. I simply put the key to position 2 then clicked the send to high profile button on the Nanocom. It said the function needs the engine to be running but it did it anyway.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Hope you find it. I'd hate to see you sell it after all the hard work you've done on it.

V8 Starters. Have I been sent the wrong one?

My original one was a lot longer than the new one which is the same as yours from Island 4x4. Works fine :)

    Do I have a cracked block ?

I think it's normal. Mine certainly came out one of the bolt holes. Story Wilson did a video on changing the P38 water pump and I'm sure I recall him saying to expect it come out of the bolt holes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRYoqas-hcI

    Compressor clutch control circuit fault

The flexible pipe leak sounds like it could be onto something though. The compressor was moved without being disconnected so maybe that upset the pipes and it all leaked out.

    Compressor clutch control circuit fault

Thanks. So I must have a leak in that case. It was only gassed last summer and before then I fitted a new condenser and drier. It never blew really cold even after filling though. Are there any other common locations for it to go?

    Compressor clutch control circuit fault

Hi, I'm getting the following code from my HEVAC: "(32) Compressor clutch control circuit open or short to ground" This only appeared after I removed the engine to rebuild it. I didn't have to de pressurise the air con to remove it only move the compressor to one side. I have the earlier...

Bank left right front or rear ?

Bank 1 is the bank that has cylinder 1 on (which is the right hand side looking at the engine from the front of the car). Bank 2 is the other side (left hand side looking from front of car, right hand side from drivers seat)

    Exhaust for oil burner ...

They certainly needed changing on mine. I believe the design changed in 97MY. The flexis touch the exhaust where the two sides join to the centre silencer pipe.

    Exhaust for oil burner ...

Brake lines need moving if you change from a single pipe to twin pipes.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Cool. I just got a top hat liner block from V8developments a few weeks ago. It's back in the car now and working well.
