Huge problems with injectors failing and cannot be removed from the head due to seizing in. The whole engine is scrap as you cannot remove the rocker cover to get top the head bolts and the head and rocker cover are matched sets.

BTW i have moved down to Borehamwood, I thought i had this updated. Can a mod please check this

I did the fuel filter about a week ago but made no difference. Ill grab a new lift pump when i next get paid and reset the valve clearances. Cheers for the advice.

My 1995 300 tdi discovery with a manual box has a random idle problem. The revs fluctuate up and down at idle by about 150 rpm each way. Its not the rev counter its the engine as i can hear it in the engine noise. It seems worse when cold. Any idea what it could be?
