The expansion bottle cap is known to leak but 1 litre a day is excessive for a cap
My cap leaked and it dripped from around o/s of sump tracking down the pipes
If you have 16" alloys on as standards
Can you fit 15" steel wheels and tyres to suit
Looking for some spare wheels to off road in rather than risk damaging the alloys
Or anyone know of any 16" that will fit
Are you sure its not from the aircon, The aircon still works when switched off if set at screen settings
Set to floor and run for 2-3 days and see if still leaking
General opinion is they dont make much difference and the oil has been suspected to damage MAF sensors, Ive not fitted one for these reasons
A clean out and Bypass of EGR and a Rover ron seems to be the best value for money
Anyone changed them on a TD4
They look a bit awkward to do (not much room)
What size is the nut on the tensioner to remove the belts and did you remove the engine mounting
Thanks
Did far better than me, Slightly bigger wheels and the clearence and he was down in about 1-2 mins where i took about 6 carefully inching downwards
