I haven't found any for 17's. The most aggressive I found were Vredestein Wintrac but hardly AT!!

Thats the difficult bit! I seem to remember when I did one using something to lever it on with? or can you get a pair of water pump pliers in to squeeze it on? Good luck.

The ones in the picture are the same as on my 2005 55 plate so no problem fitting.

I had a 2000 1.8GS A/C that had one. Access a bit fiddly from underneath if you find it.

Daft observation but have you checked the oil level. I had the same problem last year after buying my TD4. Six weeks before I bought it the car had been in to a Main Stealer somewhere in Wales. They had filled it I presume to the 6.8 litres it says in the book rather than the 5.5litres it...

It is a standard fit on later models. I have a 2005 HSE and its got sub-woofer in boot and an amp under the passenger seat. I don't know when they first started putting it in or on what models.

Hi Jasey When you say the thing in the boot I assume you mean in the boot floor attached to the back of the cover? Thats a sub-woofer. The amp is under the passenger seat in mine. Hope this helps. Tony

I have fitted towbars on 2 different Freelanders. The first used scotchblocks and on another car the one I got just plugged in. If you prgrade the flasher relay you may even get the trailer light on the dash to flash when the trailer is connected. Page 2 of Ianda's link has a bit about the relay...

Can't imagine theres much room for tyres! Mine has 17 inch standard wheels and the tyre size is 225/55/17 so on 18 less than 55 profile. Watch those kerbs!

Mines got 17inch on it. Tyres are 225/55/17. These are standard size on HSE. They aren't much good in this weather cos of the width and nobody makes any decent A/T tyres in this size.Hope this helps

Which is Best K&N or Pipercross? The filter on my TD4 is ready for a change. I was thinking of fitting something that a). Improves performance and b). I won't have to bugger about getting into so often. Any body got any thoughts? Thanks for your replies.:confused:
