    Alternator wiring

Ok so i have now worked it out, all except for one wire. This wire is yellow and appears to come initially from the dashboard area, however it is not the dash light as the wire connects to a small black box, connected to the wing, which then feeds to both the wire and also to the electric fan...

    Alternator

I guess you mean increase the amps? Could this cause any issues with other equipment? Im not particularly electrically (or mechanically, the alternator is the first thing ive removed :-)) minded so would i need higher fuses? of would it just mean the alternator works at less capacity? Cheers

    Squeaky and rumbly landy

Just triedit. Car stationary, engine running. Pessed the clutch, no difference. The squeak is when the car is idling or when i stop accelerating when slowing down. It goes when i accelerate. I am not very mechanically minded, but am learning fast with my new machine lol. So could you please...

    Squeaky and rumbly landy

Hi, I have just looked at the squealing which i thought was coming from the belts (possibly the serpentine/altenator belt), but on closer inspection/listening it seems to be coming from underneath the 3 front seats, not really sure which side. On the wheel bearing front could the...

    Squeaky and rumbly landy

Thanks, ill look at the belt later. On the wheel bearing front the bearings were only adjusted a matter of weeks ago and the vehicle has done about 120 miles since then, so does it sound like the bearings on the way out? matt
