hi everyone where can i get insurance at a sensable price for my son who is 21years old and past his test in feb gone. i cant seem to find anywhere that will insure him for a 1992 200tdi 110.hes had prices of £2000 pound anyone with any ideas would be greatful or anyone thats had the same problem that got round these stupid insurance prices thanks:(

Lancasters did me a very good price with classic cover not sure if yours is quite old enough. How many seats do you have in ? 110 is usually more than 90. I have removed two of the rear seats to make it a five seater which also cuts costs significantly. Otherwise what about named driver route?

im 19, just over a year since my test, also ive done pass plus, and have a 200tdi (converted) 1988 defender 90. Im with adrian flux, although i hear on the grapevine NFU are very cheap, but they wont insure drivers under 25, unless you have a family policy i.e. you take a policy out with them first.

mines 3rd party and around 1300, i was getting quots of around 2000 fully comp too.

Wouldnt try;
Footman james
sureterm or lancaster

they all wouldnt insureme although hes got a couple of years on me so might be worth a shot
