I want to fit a new timing belt kit in my 200tdi that i put in my 90, the engine is out of my first disco 1, i changed it a few years ago with all the best stuff from a landrover dealership, that was 85k ago!!!! when the lot cost around £50 quid. Does anyone know where i'll get the best deal now...

it sounds as though your pivot post is almost through the clutch fork to me, its giving you more pedal when you bleed it because the piston in the slave cylinder is almost coming out inside your bellhousing allowing fluid to escape in an attemt to reach your clutch fork. if your fork was normal...

sounds like your handbrake to me, try putting the handbrake on just one click while driving at walking speed and see if it makes it worse, also check if your handbrake drum heats up after a run, it shouldn't it has nothing to do with your footbrakes. if i'm on the right track possible...
