Thanks everyone for ya help on this one :) however still having no luck. I have tryed all the relays i can find but the light is still staying on. Here are the relays i have took out and tryed. The big black one bottom right of the steering column. Brown one just up and behind the fuse...

I can only see one black relay to the left of the fuse box, and to the right of the steering coloum as viewing when sitting in the discovery. I have unplugged that but still the lights stay on. Can anyone tell me if there is Any other relays hidden away before i start taking more of the...

Hi. I went out in my 1995 2ltr tdi discovery today and all was fine, i came back home and switched the lights off but the dipped headlights stayed on, So out i got and checked the back lights and they had switched off fine, the dash lights switched off fine but the main beam stayed on...

Just looked and the actuator and it feels very easy to move up and down with very little effort needed to move it. I have also notice there is no clunking sound when the button is up or down. If i open one of the other doors and push the button down to lock or unlock the door there is a a bit...

Hi. I recently bought a 93 discovery which had no alarm fob. The person i bought the discovery from did'nt have the code for the alarm either. So my question is this. Is it possible to get a fob and reset the alarm to match the new fob so the alarm works and operates the central locking?

Quick Update. I have done as you suggested discool but I still the same issue. I have also changed the Spring and still i have the problem. It has me totally baffled now as to what it could be. Help please lol.

Hi 1st can i ask how many of these small springs are in the boot locking mecanism? The only one i can find is behind the landrover badge on the back door handle? I have removed the badge and found that the spring was only rusty but in tact, i sprayed it with wd40. Is there another spring...

Hi Thanks for the help and tutorial on how to fix the issue. I have tryed as you have suggested but i still have the same problem. :confused: Im thinking maybe its the actual actuator, as the button for the lock seems to be very easy to move in and out.
