Hi.
I recently bought a 93 discovery which had no alarm fob.
The person i bought the discovery from did'nt have the code for the alarm either.
So my question is this.
Is it possible to get a fob and reset the alarm to match the new fob
so the alarm works and operates the central locking?

Yes u have a single button system the replacement fobs are user programable unlike a two button fob which requires software.
