I (well I say I my girlfriend) has decided to get a v8 cause they sound better :rolleyes: and I kind of want to know what sort of prices I should expect to pay. I have seen a lot of posts saying oh got it for that and this and that but autotrader and pistonheads seems a lot more expensive...

I suppose it comes down to spec and ages I have around 7k to spend could go 7.5k maybe even 8k.

I did test drive a 4.6 and my god it shocked me the grunt of it my current car average 13-15 mpg unless i'm booting it what would a RR V8 do?

Yes some playing in the mud and sand go to coast quite a lot. Lots of dog walking (chucking dogs in the back) Just fed up with the GTR always being of the road, cause there is no where to run something that fast anymore.... The RR will mainly be a weekend car as I have the van; I like luxury...

Ok you are selling me towards diesel what does the diesel sound like with the sports exhaust on? Heard the RR TDV8 with a sports exhaust and it sounds awesome

you will never notice it, unless you are into real 4X4 work, but the you would be better speding the cash on othere things, and another LR. but if you just want the blin bling thing, ecu first or buy a Jag Learn to spell before you learn to abuse

I am deciding between the 4.6 or the 2.5 dhse/dse Now the diesel will have to be tuned and I had a look at twisted performances website and worked out that you can get 191 bhp out of the diesel From ECU remap + 30bhp Exhaust + 15bhp Air Filter + 10bhp But what's this in the real world
