    classic abs/etc brake diagram

As usual I need help. Having swapped all the major parts of the abs system on my classic LSE from a donor I have a problem. Although I tried to be exact by labelling the brake pipes prior to removal from the duff unit the brake fluid made my writing unreadable and I am not 100% sure I have...

    classic`s abs

thanks for the reply. I have followed Haynes and cross checked with the green oval and done it twice, even went 25 miles to get a pressure bleed system, all to no avail yet. Feel resigned to swapping the pedal box incase a value has got stuck etc when I drained it , guess we`ll find out if it...

    classic`s abs

I have got problems with my ABS on a 94 LSE. It all started when I relpaced the inner wing and so undid the front brakes and moved the accumulator. Now the pump will not stop even though I`m sure there is no air in the system. I have swapped the pump for another I know is ok and it does the...

    abs

Addition to origional post. ABS pump runs very rough which it did not do on donor RR, sosomething on new RR is the cause. When you open the accumulator bleeder and run the pump its silent and only runs rough as you close the bleeder. So I`m assuming that the pumps stays on and sounds horrible...

    abs

Hi, Thanks for the reply. The pressure switch is good as it was running fine on the donor LSE but didn`t know anything about the nitrogen charge in the accumulator, any more details please? I think the Wabco system is the same as SE, as far as I can tell the only real difference is the length...

    abs

Any help please! Had to replace the inner wing on 93 LSE and so disconnected the brakes. When I reconnected them the ABS pump would not turn off and sounded very rough. I have replaced the sensor onthe pump, the pump itself, all to no effect. There seems to be no air in the calipers as it is...

Wanted: Tan leather RRC passenger seat

Glad it worked. Try to borrow a cordless with reverse and its not a problem to do both then. If you have the seat out turn it over undo motor connector and when you find the correct pair of terminals for the function you want take a feed of the battery and power it to and fro. Remember if the...

Wanted: Tan leather RRC passenger seat

hi. This may sound tricky but if I did it so can you. The 4 motors are located under the front of the seat. Undo the top 2 screws of the plate covering them, the 1 nearest the trans. tunnel is the hardest, and swing down. Then pivot the top motor forwards so that the worm drive cables can be...

    101 wheel rims

I know what you mean but if I can get both sizes with same o/d then iI would use a 255 as a spare. I darent put a 285 on the front as it would stress the power steering too much and possibly foul on full lock. The idea of 285 behind is that she is a little modified and a trifle rear end heavy...

    101 rims

Iknow a 101 is not a true series landy but does anyone know of a 6 stud rim that will fit a 101 that will also be wide enough for a 285/75 16 tyre, ie a rim 8.5" wide? Thanks for any info.

    101 wheel rims

I hope someone can help me. I have a 101 in oz converted to a camper. She was exported on 9.00x16 tyres and now I have to reboot her. My idea was to try to find a rim to fit the 6 stud pattern and 16" size but wide enough to take a 285/75 /16 tyre. the idea being that a bigger footprint may be...

My RR classic soft dash for sale:

Sorry to hear about your troubles re lpg. just a thought but if your tank and pipework are ok then it seems £1250 for reducer, monopoint or equivelent plus electrics etc is a bit dear. Have you had alternative price or even priced a, dare I say it, diy kit?

    classic range rover suspension conversion

Hi , converted my lse to coils 4 years ago, or should say had it done for me. Had heavy duty coils put on the rear to assist with the lift, stripped out the compressor , valve box, air bags etc and had the whole job for 400+vat. it was a good conversion and would recommend who did it if you live...

'92 Rover - help with driver's seat adjusting

I have been told the ecu under the seat controls both as LR thought if you move the seat then you would adjust your mirrors. So if the ecu plays up then it can lead to the seat switch moving the mirrors. Do not take that as gospel but if true sounds like an ecu problem.
