Morning peeps!!
I'm after one of the above, the electrics are shot in the one I have and can't get the seat to move to get to the bolt holes.

Anyone got one knocking around unwanted (ideally local to me)

Cheers

Ade

I do have one but the switch not 100% reliable, but I do know how to move it mechanically if that is any help.

Hi sorry to be so long replying.

Live on Exmoor, Somerset. Hadn`t really thought of a price so make me an offer, it is not in the best condition but the leather is not bad, just needs a bit of tlc, no holes etc.

Actually Charles, if you could tell me how to move the seats manually I may be able to use the one I have.

That'd be a huge help as I didn't think you could move them by hand.

hi. This may sound tricky but if I did it so can you.
The 4 motors are located under the front of the seat. Undo the top 2 screws of the plate covering them, the 1 nearest the trans. tunnel is the hardest, and swing down. Then pivot the top motor forwards so that the worm drive cables can be pulled out of the motor, you shouldn`t have to undo the locking ferrules. Then get 2 electric drills, 1 will need to have reverse, and attach to the worm drives. It is a matter of trial and error which has to go in reverse but its easy to see which way the seat is trying to move. If you dont put 1 in reverse then the seat tries to move forward on 1 runner and back on the other.
If my memory is right the lower motor moves the whole seat up or down, if you move it all the way up you can undo the connector to the motor, blue block on mine, then by applying a +ve feed to 1 of the paired teminals and -ve to the other you can power the seat into the best position. I left the block undone so that its just a question of reconnecting if I need to move it again. Trial and error to see which pair of terminals have which function, if it goes the wrong way ie up not down then reverse the +ve and -ve feeds to the block. Don`t forget to reassemble the motor before doing this.
hope that helps, let me know?

Many thanks for this Charles
I was never too bothered about having the electrics working properly but I do need to access the bolt holes to secure it to the seat box of my 110

I'll let you know

That worked a treat!!
Thanks for the tip.

I had to take oneside out at a time and take the drill to it, move it a few inches and then swap sides but it did it.

It's going to be a proper pain in the backside to move them forwards again when the seat is in place though! lol

Thanks again

Ade

Glad it worked.

Try to borrow a cordless with reverse and its not a problem to do both then.

If you have the seat out turn it over undo motor connector and when you find the correct pair of terminals for the function you want take a feed of the battery and power it to and fro. Remember if the seat goes the wrong way just reverse the feed into terminal block. Just be careful not to power the seat past its max travel or the motors will not like you.
any problem then come back.

Good luck.

Is there any chance of the seat being able to move around on its own if I remove the motors completely?

I have a tiny socket that's able to turn the cables without use of the motors.

A de

Just got your message as it was in the spam file.

Dont know but would expect the seat to be fixed as they are moved by the worm drive.

Hope that helps Charles

Hiya mate
I've had the motor out completely for a few days now and both seats properly bolted in and alls peachy!
Lovely and comfy
