    Ok... got my hammer out and gave it a good beating... got the torque gun on it and managed to get some out but as you see most just stripped :oops:, apologies for taking so long been mad busy with work! Grrr!!

    Yeah just normal wear really and after a good clean the old girl looks great just two minor rust scabs on the rear of the back arches and a leaky joint on the exhaust, but for 150000 miles she ain’t a bad old bird and for £90 I’m well happy!

    yeah I think I will just bang in a new hub in as I have to remove the hub to do the drive shaft seal anyway and I don’t know how long the bearing has been loose as there is a good 3/4” play in it, steering shakes like f*** probably not helped by the prop tho! if @Grrrrrr or @biketeacherdave...

    Hi Phil sorry for the late reply, I had to wait for my new tools to arrive they finally arrived today so will have another go at them, there is one I am pretty sure I won’t get out as I chewed up the head on my last attempt, thanks for the videos will try the hand tool way and fingers crossed...

    I think they will need drilling out, I attached a locking monkey wrench onto the handle to get more leverage but the handles shattered then I used the wrench on the justvthe metal bar and that snapped, fair play to the hardened head.. that’s unmarked... perhaps they should have hardened the...

    My torx set has hardened tips it was actually the handles that shattered from the amount of torque I applied, the actual heads didn’t strip!
