    I think in the instructions manual it was saying if you had excessive gaps it can cause damage to tithe valve train or followers but have never heard anyone mention that before .. just thought it was odd

    i used the britpart teflon coated ball kit , but used timtin bearings instead of the supplied ones ,, all fitted with no problems and that was 3 years ago now,, still leak free . highly recomended , i wouldnt listen to much about the ****part hipe ,,

    when i replaced my old rusted swivels with new ones it came with the grease to use instead of oil.. has been done some 5 years ago with no ill affect , plus less likely to leak ..so all good and mine ia a 300 tdi originally had oil in

    I think it may have some rot in the bottom which is right where these mounts are so I'm guessing I will most likely need to cut v that section off but will soon know when I start chopping Your pictures will be most help full thank you

    Yes I have anti roll bars fitted front and rear but its also the main mount for the bottom of the towing stay bar
