Hairball. (Keith, my old friend)perhaps ill just stick with the fender as you clearly need to be a moron to own a frelander
back at ya..
..lol
£8k will get yer an early or high mileage Freelander 2. £8k will buy nearly any Freelander 1 as most have dropped below this. Freelander 2 is betterer than the Freelander 1 in every way. It's a completely different vehicle. FL2 started in 2006 when the FL1 stopped. If using them for towing yer betterer to get an auto.hi
i have at preset a 90 fender and am looking at getting a freelander as well for the misses
looking to spend around 8 grand , question is what will that buy me and what is best one to get
and what am i looking at regarding running costs and road tax.

Thanks hippo.
That's help full to know .
Yes will defiantly be used for towing and I was also thinking along the lines of an auto, out of interest does the auto box sharer any similarities of the newer discovery in that it is a sealed for life box and an oil change is a major job ...
Auto fluid change can be done on both the Freelander 1 and Freelander 2. Slightly different method and different oil, but OK for a diy'er to do if they follow the procedure correctly. Thanks hippo.
