just drove it home with no rear shocks... feeling a bit motion sick... need rear shocks on tmoz... lol

just like to say that i rang today and was very impressed by the young lady on the phone.. very helpful, knew what she was talking about, didnt have to repeat anything, and solved all my requests.. also had to use flux rescue bout 9 days ago... again, very helpful, broke down at 9.15am...

we nearly is.... just waitin til 1st to tax it.... then off we go... oh n when i've put some shocks on back axle... lol

on a flat bed is a breakdown... repaired at side of road without anyone seeing ya is maintenance...

ya never saw me doin wheel bearing? i was just counting my spanners when ya saw me putting my toolbox back in the boot...:p

i had to tow pauls fender halfway cross wales last time... 2-2... then theres simmi's fender breakdowns to take into account... disco's 2 fenders- infinity....

now now children, play nice....

yay,,,, fixed... just gotta put all centre console back... done for today, gotta go work now....

would you believe it.... took me 5 minuted to get the handbrake back together.. after all that struggle, went together dead easy.. lol...

cant m8... gotta get my disco back on the road....

this week gets worse!!! driving van to work this mornin... on m-way.. polythene sheet blew under van... wrapped round prop n brake pipes.... and ripped the brake lines off.. holy crap no brakes.. so managed to pull off mway, stopped at garage at end of slip road, they made me some new pipes...

cheers for the advice guys.... will have another go tomorrow... full day at work then on my back for the third day doin this gearbox swop... just had cables and props n mounts to put back on, thought i would be done today, m this handbrake scuppered me.. oh well, more tomorrow...

tried that... tried pliers, 12" long pliers, mole grips, tried a small socket but couldnt see the barsteward slot, i cant believe that was the best design they could come up with... feeling calmer now im on the outside of 4 cans of carling..

why the chuff do they use a torx bit of huge size on the gearbox filler plug... only chuffing thing i aint got... i got female torx set and little torx for my screwdrivers.. what a stupid idea!!!! moan over, very tired, fit a gearbox and xfr box today on my own, nearly.. just gotta put...

one job crossed off the list... done my tailgate latch spring... 9,999 jobs to go......

cheers for the info mick... dunno if its xfr or gearbox.. getting a really noisy wirring on the over-run in 4th and 3rd... think it would be in all gears if xfr box but i'm not sure...
