I was checking out fault codes on my 1999 P38 and in the EDC section it said:

Injector timing value out of expected range
Type: invalid fault, major fault, logged, intermittent
RPM = 77
Inj. Flow = 70
Occurance = 13

That's the only fault code it has, after clearing some old ones a few days ago. I don't have much knowledge about engines, what could this mean?

This is what I'm seeing in the general section of EDC menu while the engine is idling.

It looks like the idle speed has been increased to cover an other issue. There will be other screen shots showing inputs live data,

Also find that when the aircon kicks in it sounds like the engine is going to stall😵‍💫 may actually knock it back up too 800🤔

Really? Mine's fine, although it is a little slow for a second after the aircon kicks in before it responds and gets back to 750 rpm.

When engine is up to normal temperature it should idle at 750 rpm unless someone has played with diag to increase it or had the top of the FIP off and not put it back properly.
I keep deleting this fault code and it keeps coming back, all at the same 70-80rpm range so it seems to be an issue when cranking the car. I've only had the car for 2 years now but when I bought it there was a worn injection pump in the back so I assume it got changed, perhaps somebody didn't attach it well enough? It doesn't seem to cause any real issues even though Nanocom declares it as a major fault code.

What fault code?
