Could be, I'll take a close look at mine later. Edit, I can confirm that the cap has an air hole best viewed from the inside of the cap. A partial vacuum in the reservoir is likely to affect braking.
+1 on doing the brake bleed procedure as per Rave.
If you think youve got all the air out on a step give it another 5 pumps and more air will come out.
Condenser replaced, took it to the garage for them to nitrogen test - left for 3 hours and didn’t drop a single PSI. Regassed and I’ve got lovely cold air again. Finally*.

Other thread.
A bit of PTFE tape seems to have sorted the drain plug.
Aircon drains were dripping but dripped a lot more after I jammed a screwdriver in there. Oddly the driver's side was worse than the passenger side. I can confirm the exhaust...
Bloody thing wouldn't post the first two times in the What Did You Do To Your Range Rover thread. Said parsing error. Third time must have ended up here. Bizarre.
Water, water bl**dy everywhere.
Got back from town and spotted a drip from the front - drain-plug was dripping from the radiator.
Went inside, came back out and noticed a drip from the passenger sill. Opened door and carpet is wet. Water...

So, picked her up yesterday, went to a expidition vehicle meet up with the mechanic and some friends and some others. I felt poor for a sec, between people having a private warehouse twice the size of our not small house next to there villa, for...
Roughness is not measured at idle so ignore those numbers.
Driving at a high load and higher revs can clean things up if you always drive it like granny
Fitted the new exhaust yesterday. I went for one of the £335 ‘sports’ ones you can find on eBay. I must say I’m overall extremely impressed with the welding and it fit beautifully, something I wasn’t sure would happen.
Sound wise there’s an...
Fired up the green P38 for the first time in several weeks. EAS went straight up to correct height. Loaded up some garage rubbish, cardboard, an old freezer & load of empty beer cans, and off to local household waste centre.
What bugs me is...

Hi Guys,
Thank you all for your input with my issue.
It’s parked up awaiting a specialist to have a look at noise but not till July 16th 🙄😩 Once I get the final diagnosis I will let you all know ..
Appreciate all the help 🙏🏽
Solved! Thanks a bunch.
I just altered those screws a few times. It’s not 100% but it shuts normal now. I’m not going to even entertain the idea of toying with it. I’m just chuffed that it’s now fixed and my car is whole again.
Yep - they did also find a tiny seep on the compressor where the hoses connect so I’ll get some fresh o-rings at the same time.
In other news I was under the car and have found a frankly hilariously sized hole in the y joint in the exhaust..
Told my Classic to stop complaining about getting a little more use over the past 3 months (might even cover 1000m this year) & being parked in the open for the past 17 years .. though I did wish it a happy 38th birthday & promised to rectify the...
