    They'll be pushing against the valve springs. I put mine in with the valve bridge unbolted and then bolted the bridge down (using the sequence in RAVE). As you tighten the bolts down, the valves will open on those valves that are being acted...

    On mine, I unbolted the compressor from the engine. Lowered it down as the pipes are flexible. I did struggle to get the clutch pack off and caused a little damege as the bearing has a circlip on the end of its bushing... Mine doesn't anymore🤣 I...

    Yes dot4 for the brakes, that's what will be in there now. Have you checked your brake pads recently? They are probably worn and some might need replacing

    Sounds like a waste of time testing it, I suspect the brushes are worn out and in any case the regulator it's incorrect for modern batteries. It's easy enough to swap the regulator, comes with new brushes, can be done with the alternator in...

    We did our regular 35km each way shopping run today and were amazed to see over a dozen swasticars. Very unusual normally never see more than one. Wasted my time washing the cars, they are covered in Sahara dust this morning :(

    Reight had to run wife to her sisters so put Hawkeye on with live diagnostics to compare with the plugged in ciggy thing. hawkeye showing 13.8volts with engine running ciggy voltage 12.8. After 5 miles Hawkeye 13.7 other 12.6.

    Very low, should be between 14.4 & 14.8 volts just after starting folding back eventually to 13.8 volts. Needs a new regulator & brush assembly a the very least, assuming your plug in DVM actually works, I have one that always shows 12.8 volts...

    Yes I did that last time, will do this time too. The pins/clips came out easily. A crow bar and a push down on top managed to work the spring out. Made 2013 29th week, not perished. Good to keep as emergency spare. Now to the other side.
