It can’t roll that much. When out of sync Nanocom or testbook puts GEMS into learning mode. It then learns next code from BECM. If it rolls it can only go from 1 to 65534. FFFF or 65535 tells GEMS to go into ignore mode. Either the F-out...

I have the Icarsoft CR-Max which apparently uses the same SW as the V3 Land Rover Version, but covers all most cars. Never tried it on an L322 though cos I aint got one. Works well on my Merc C180 & both Freelanders. For my P38's it shows...

BTW, just for a laugh, I googled the amount of energy required. Surely burning that amy energy in petrol is gonna put the same strain or wear on the engine regardless of rpm. . . . . .but I'm not the right scientist

Also at 70mph, surely lowering the revs from 1300 to 1100 is not gonna save much petrol ? Rememer you need a certain amount of energy or fuel to keep a brick shaped car rolling !!

When you say "it drops to entry height", do you mean it stays up overnight, and then drops to Access or Standard when you start the car ? If so it's not a valve block issue.

You would need to find what data the Nanocom sends to GEMS for learn mode, plus the data format the BECM sends during starting. The GEMS will be some kind of LR specific command code via the OBD protocol. I suspect the BECM enable signal uses...

Never tried it, but in theory you could do it with a Nanocom (although Nanocom might not allow FFFF). 1. In BECM menus write FFFF into the Immobilisation code. 2. In GEMS Utility menu put GEMS into Learn Mode. 3. Turn ignition off-on to trigger...

Do the pressure check with the engine up to normal temp & switched off. Make sure you check all the hose joints & around any gasket that hold coolant. Also get underneath & shine a torch up at the core plugs (they rust & leak eventually).
