Today I learnt if you take a door card off a L322, make sure the mirrors are out. Confused the hell out of me when the mirrors were in opposite states to each other, one folded, the other out. Press the fold button and they swap over 😂

Cut one of the clips off and put a cable tie round it..... 😂

New rear propshaft fitted. All the needle bearings in the uj had disintegrated and fell out, some interesting noises driving along there. Need to find a replacement spider assembly now to keep it as a spare shaft.

Don't forget the AC drain tubes. They're easy to get at behind the side dash panel by your feet.

Glad you figured out the problem. May be worth opening and trying another clean with IPA and a toothbrush if you can get at the actual contacts, worked for me on another car in the past.

Just seen the other posts regarding this. The suspension and abs work together for dynamics. If you brake hard for example, the suspension puts a bit more air to the front bags to reduce dive etc. What error codes in the whole car do you have? Several modules work together which is a pain to say...

If its a L322 and you lost battery, it does weird things sometimes until you turn the steering wheel lock to lock to calibrate the steering sensor. I found this out the hard way when I lost everything to do with both ABS and suspension, including speedo.

Wonder if there may be an issue with the yellow/black wire there, or the spring itself as they do break after a bit of time (although generally more reliable in "newer" cars). Not sure if it'll be simple voltage or data but if cruise is controlled over that line then the instrument cluster...

Do all the other buttons work for the stereo and the horn? Looks like (looking at wiring diagrams) fuse 9 for 12v, ground, i-bus and a connection to the instrument cluster. May be the clockwork spring? No relays involved, just a load of control modules and data. As a thought, is the brake...

If its cranking over, there's only a couple of things it can be. It's briefly firing on cold start being sprayed it, means no fuel. Immobiliser has been bypassed and it's cranking so not likely ews at this point. This pretty much leaves fuel pressure sensor on the fuel filter, should kick up...
