Well I need a new aerial anyway as my other was binned when I stripped the Defender. I have spent waaayyy more than I wanted on the re-build so another 100quid is going to make little difference. I'll just tell the wife it cost a fiver off ebay.

I will be fitting a dab radio double din in my 300Tdi and need a new aerial. Anyone got any experience with a Nakatanenga defender aerial and is it worth nearly 100 quid?

I bought a Marsland chassis and I'm happy with it. I also bought a galvanized bulkhead from Shielder which I was hesitant about due to some reviews but it has been fine.

Me too. I also picked out all the sealant on the roof joints and resealed them with tiger seal. S**t job

Well I tapped it out to m4 and opened up the countersink so it would fit flush. All fitted now.

I didnt know at the time. I had an M4 bolt which I tried but it was too big. I then remembered I had a thread gauge in a tap and die set

M4 too big and the threads on the existing seem to be coarse. Doesn’t match anything on my metric thread gauge. I’m going to go to local fasteners supplier and see if they have anything. If not I will open out to M4

Currently refurbing my rear sliding windows in my 90. I’ve managed to round off 2 of the small csk screws that hold the frame together. Does anyone know what size/thread they are and where I can get some. I have googled them but can’t find them.

Not any mechanics but if it had of been at a dealer I would have had a look for you

I'm sure they ceased trading years ago. I tried to contact them in 2018 with no such luck. When was the last time they worked on you land rover?

I tend to disagree with you as I'm rebuilding mine and if I had of known then what I know now and the cost and more so time involved I may have bought one already done. This one has had a lot of time and money invested in it. The only thing that would maybe put me off was the CAT write off...
