So, I have a 1984 Landrover 90. In its past its had a 200 TDI engine fitted. For its age its in pretty good nick. The chassis, bulk head and floor pans are all solid and is mot'd. I am wondering whether to sell it but have no idea of value. Ebay prices vary wildly. Or should I wait until April...

Yes I think its new, I found it in the dash tray. It could have been taken out by the previous owner thinking it was overheating when it wasn't ! I like things to work as they should so yes, the gauge is irritating, I just need to get over it !

Yes same with mine, top hose hot, bottom hose is warm. Plenty of heat from the heater. I guess I will just have to live with the incorrect temp gauge. Main thing is that its not overheating.

So I purchased a PRC6663. Thread was coarser than my other however it did screw in and is water tight. Went for a long drive and temp gauge returned to the 3/4 mark just under red. The odometer on my 1983 90 has frozen at 250k. Speedo and trip working fine. I havent reset the trip since I purchased it a few months ago and shows I have covered 450 miles, however the odometer seems to have jumped from 197k to its present state of stuck at 250k. I'm baffled !
