They go on either way, the idea is that the sliding joint on the prop is put at the transfer box to reduce contamination from the road. 👍

Understood, I think my original pump was around 8 minutes to fill the tank from empty with a door open for no interruption ? (correct me if I'm wrong) 🤔.. Hopefully you've suffered just a tired pump👌

You could have the height sensor out of whack. Does it move up and at the front or rear. Like it's dancing?

Most likely burnt🤯 I draw the old oil out with a vacuum pump, Refill, run the engine while steering left to right fully and continue like that until I'm happy with final color after draining and refilling repeatedly. 👍

I'd give it a good clean down and check it again after a few miles. If there has been a leak for a while, the oil will be in every minute place and will slowly ooze with the engines heat. Hopefully you don't have to drop the sump👍
