When you top it up/fill it you do so with no pressure in the system ๐.
When you put the cap on you are not trapping any pressure๐.
Now if you put the cap on with it warm/hot, cos you were running it...
Has to depend on many things. The V8 often sounds like it is revving hard when it isn't. You'd run a 4 pot at the same revs for instance.
